This is a deeply meditative, grounding and soothing massage from the Polynesian Islands. Mimicking the rythmic rocking and slow movement of ocean waves and island breezes, this massage offers you an opportunity to let go of the outside world and sink deeply into your body.

This is a heavily oil based massage that is a surprisingly "grounding" experience. It creates a deep relaxation that reaches further beyond just simple muscle relaxation. A mental unwinding occurs as the body and mind reconnect into long lines of flowing energy and ease. For anyone who feels like they are a disconnected bag of parts and broken pieces, this massage can be an incredibly healing experience.

Warm weather draping is used in this session to facilitate long, flowing strokes that run from head to toe without interruption. The important parts of the body remain covered but more skin and body is exposed everywhere else during the whole of the session to accommodate the techniques that are signature for Lomi-Lomi.
